After attending one or two “taster” rehearsals, you may be asked to undertake a simple voice test with our Musical Director. If successful, you will be invited to join the choir. The Musical Director can call for sectional rehearsals and has the right to a discretionary review of voices if he feels it necessary. Within the choir there is an expectation of appropriate musical accuracy.

Our members do their best to ensure that they are available to sing in concerts, and are encouraged to contribute to the success of the events by advertising them and supporting the direct sale of tickets. If members have to miss more than three rehearsals before a concert or are unable to attend the last evening rehearsal and the final rehearsal on the day of the performance, they will not be able to sing in it.

Subscriptions
Subscriptions for the 2023-24 season are £125.00 for the year. Young member subscriptions are £30 for under 30s and free to anyone in full-time education.

A discretionary Bursary is available to subsidise young members (under 30s) and others who may have genuine difficulty in paying the full subscription.
Members are invited to add to their normal subscription if they wish to contribute to the Bursary Fund.
